Acceptance and scope
TermsThese Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Deckbook, including public artist pages, discovery surfaces, booking requests, paid plans, and related websites, applications, and communications.
By browsing Deckbook, creating an account, publishing a page, or sending a booking request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
TermsYou may use Deckbook only if you can lawfully enter into a binding agreement and use the platform in compliance with applicable law.
If you use Deckbook for an artist, team, venue, agency, or company, you represent that you have authority to act for that party. You are responsible for maintaining account credentials, providing accurate information, and for activity that occurs under your account.
Artist pages and user content
TermsArtists and teams may upload profile information, media, links, pricing, booking notes, and other content to create a public Deckbook page. You retain ownership of your content.
You grant Deckbook a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.
- You must have the rights needed to publish any media, branding, music links, and booking information you upload.
- Public page content must be accurate and not misleading about identity, affiliations, availability, or pricing.
- You should not publish confidential, private, or sensitive information that you do not want visible on a public profile.
Discovery, booking requests, and marketplace use
TermsDeckbook helps promoters, organizers, and buyers discover artists, compare live pages, and send booking requests. Promoters do not need an account to browse public pages or submit certain requests.
Unless Deckbook expressly states otherwise in a specific flow, any performance, appearance, service, or booking agreement remains between the relevant buyer and artist or representative, not Deckbook.
You are responsible for reviewing requests carefully, responding truthfully, and confirming the commercial terms of any engagement outside or inside the platform flow that applies to that booking.
Paid plans, billing, and payment providers
TermsPaid plans, trial terms, pricing, and billing cadence are shown at checkout or in your account. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize the applicable fees and any renewal terms described at checkout.
Deckbook uses third-party payment providers such as Stripe for subscriptions, payment collection, and certain booking or payout features. Those services may have additional terms, onboarding requirements, and verification rules.
Deckbook may receive and store limited billing, subscription, and transaction metadata needed to operate the service, but full payment card details are handled by the payment provider.
Acceptable use
TermsYou may not misuse Deckbook, interfere with the platform, or use it in a way that harms artists, buyers, or the service.
- Do not upload infringing, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or unlawful content.
- Do not impersonate another artist, team, buyer, or company, or submit false booking requests.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, automate abusive access to, or otherwise interfere with the platform or other users.
- Do not use Deckbook to transmit malware, spam, or unauthorized marketing messages.
Availability, changes, suspension, and termination
TermsWe may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Deckbook from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any specific discovery ranking or booking outcome.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, the platform is being abused, or continued access creates security, legal, or operational risk.
You may stop using Deckbook at any time. Certain provisions, including payment obligations, content licenses reasonably needed for archival or legal purposes, and liability limitations, will survive termination.
Intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability
TermsDeckbook, its design, software, branding, and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights in the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deckbook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deckbook and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Deckbook in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms and contact
TermsWe may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a different date is stated. If a change is material, we may use reasonable efforts to notify account holders through the service or by email.
